 RULES, REGULATIONS, AND GUIDELINES.

 

OBJECTIVE
This program has been created to give loyal students of the HEI an opportunity to redeem points for discounts. As the student progresses through their studies, they can earn points that will turn into future discounts on their tuition and special benefits and advantages.

 

BENEFITS
Discounts on tuition, recognition, exclusive offers and promotions, participation in special events, free training, and workshops.

 

EARNING POINTS
A student will earn a total of 1 (one) point per dollar spent on certain things. As soon as the student reaches certain benchmarks, they will be able to redeem discounts on future tuition payments on a permanent basis.

Points earned are permanent. As long as the student remains studying, they remain active and accruing.

Copper:
 8,000 points Discount of $50 per month
Bronze:
 12,000 points Discount increases to $75 per month
Silver:
 15,000 points Discount increases to $100 per month
Gold:
 18,000 points Discount increases to $125 per month
Platinum:
 22,000 points Discount increases to $150 per month

Program Start Date
This program starts on September 1st, 2020.
Points for tuition payment made since September of 2019 will be counted retroactively to honor students that are already actively studying. Other points will start being counted at the start date of the program September 1st, 2020.

STUDENTS WITH CURRENT DISCOUNTS:
Discounts cannot be combined. A student with a current discount will start earning new discounts after they surpass a benchmark that is higher than their current discount.

AMOUNTS AND ACTIONS THAT EARNS POINTS:
1. Monthly tuition – Students that pay their tuition after the 5th of the month will not accumulate points for late fees accrued.

4. Materials purchased for course – Students that have already purchased MyEnglishLab will earn points retroactively.
5. A student that uses autopay for tuition payment will earn a total of 30 points per month.
6. A student that has a final grade 90% or above at the end of each level will receive 100 points per level. Students that voluntarily repeats a level or a term will not earn double points. The total points a student can earn from the first to the last level offered by the institute is 800 points (levels 1 through 6, TOEFL® Preparation, and Business English.) Since TOEFL does not have scores, students will receive the points automatically.
7. When a student speaks “English Only” during class, including breaks and actively participates in class, not one or the other, but both combined, the student will earn 3 points per day. Since this may be a questionable area, teachers are instructed to alert the student two times before discounting the points. Students that arrive late will not earn points.
8. Positive reviews on Google or social media: A student can earn 100 points by leaving a positive review with text describing a real situation. If the student is unable to give a positive review because of an issue that is current in their student life with Harvest, this student should seek resolution in order to be able to do so. It is possible for a student to be granted extra points beyond the 100 points at the entire discretion of the Directors for reviews that may have shown exceptional effort.
9. Video Testimonials: Whenever a student is invited to participate in a video testimonial, recorded by Harvest, under the rules and guidelines of the company, such student will be awarded 100 points if they participate.
10. Harvest International Festival: Each student in a class that wins the yearly International Festival will earn a total of 100 points.
11. Referral Program: As of the first day of this program a student can earn 40 points per month that a referee starts and continues to study. The points will always be added to the account of the referring student in the following month after the referee started studying to allow enough time for accounting verification and validation of points. The points will continue being added to the student’s account for as long as the referee continues to study. There are no limits to how many students a student can refer. The referring student will start accumulating points even if they haven’t yet started studying. Referrals should be made through the InSeconds System. In the case that a referee is already studying there will be no points awarded. This program ends the previous discount program. The institute reserves the right to create additional promotions in regard to referrals.

VALIDITY OF POINTS:
– Points don’t expire and are valid for as long as the student remains an active Harvest student.
– If a student leaves the program the earned points will be forfeited.
– When a student takes a leave of absence points will remain active.
– Points cannot be transferred or redeemed as cash
– In cases where there is an exchange between couples, one stops and the other starts, the discounts earned can be transferred to the new student, but points will be forfeited and restarted.

DISCOUNT VALIDATION
– Will be on tuition payments only
– Will start on the month immediately following when the student reaches the benchmark

CALCULATION OF POINTS:
CALCULATION OF POINTS – RENEWAL
This program substitutes any other discount programs for renewals previously used by the institute at the time of renewal. Out of country students that have registered and started their studies prior to September 1, 2020 will be granted the first level of discount fifty dollars ($50) on their one-year anniversary. Additional discounts will be granted as the following benchmarks are reached. This rule applies for students that have renewed between September 1, 2019 and September 1, 2020.

CONCLUSION
The Harvest English Institute reserves the right to cancel this program or to change rules in this program without prior notice.
Points cannot be redeemed for cash, used for purposes other than established in this program, transferred, or sold to another student.
